There was once a farmer who loved his field very much. Every morning, he cared for his carrot crop. But he began to notice that some carrots were disappearing little by little.
He wondered:
👨🌾 Who is eating my crop every night?
The farmer decided to watch the field quietly after sunset.
Visitors at Night
At night, the farmer saw small rabbits entering the field one after another. They were eating the carrots quickly because they were hungry.
At first, the farmer felt angry and thought about giving them a harsh punishment. Then he stopped and said to himself:
👨🌾 Anger will not solve the problem. I should understand the reason first.

The Little Rabbit
The next night, the farmer gently caught a little rabbit and asked:
👨🌾 Why are you eating the carrots from my field?
The rabbit answered shyly:
🐰 There is not much food near our burrow, and we did not know where else to go.
The farmer thought for a moment and said:
👨🌾 I will protect my crop, but I will plant a small corner of the field for you. You may eat from that corner and leave the rest of the carrots alone.
A Fair Agreement
The rabbit was happy and promised to tell the other rabbits. The farmer put a light fence around the main crop and left a small corner with carrots for the rabbits.
A few days later, the farmer returned to the field. He found his crop safe and saw the rabbits eating only from their own corner.

The farmer smiled and said:
👨🌾 When we speak calmly, we can find a solution that protects everyone's rights.
From that day on, the farmer cared for his carrots, and the rabbits respected the agreement.
