Tools FAQ
Can I use images without uploading them?
Yes. Insert PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF images from your device, paste them, or drop them into the editor. They stay in your browser. Download a ZIP project to keep the Markdown document and its images together. A Markdown file alone contains image paths, not the image files.
Which Markdown features are supported?
Headings, emphasis, links, images, blockquotes, code blocks, tables, task lists and strikethrough are supported. This is a Markdown source editor with a formatted preview, not a Word page-layout editor. Scripts, embedded frames and unsafe HTML are removed from the preview.
Does the editor save my work?
One draft, including local images, can be saved in this browser and restored later. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, so download a copy for permanent storage. No document is uploaded. Linked online images are loaded only when you choose to allow them.
What files and limits are supported?
Open Markdown, plain text or HTML up to 2 MB, or a ZIP project up to 50 MB. Images can be up to 10 MB each and 40 MB in total. ZIP projects must contain one Markdown document and supported images; use the image library to reconnect relative image paths.
